Requests
To be considered for Gila River Cares funding please review the timing section below. Links will be provided to submit a request during the designated time frame. In the submission form please provide background on the organization including funding needs, logos, photos and letters of support.
Requirements
- Each requesting non-profit organization must be a 501(c)3.
- Requesting organizations may not have a religious, political, or racial affiliation.
- The request must benefit a group or organization; requests that benefit an individual will not be considered.
- Promotion to market to individuals under the age of 21 will not be considered.
- Third-party requests will not be considered.
Timing:
- March 1 – 31: Everi Cares. Everi Cares makes charitable giving easy! Through kiosks conveniently located on casino floors, guests can donate the change from their winning ticket vouchers to a selection of nonprofits. If you’d like your charity to be considered for the program, applications open in March. Selected charities will be notified in the spring.
- June 1 – 30: Self-Excluded Jackpots. Requests will be accepted in June of each year for an October pay-out. All Submissions must be an Arizona-based non-profit, primarily dedicated to the treatment or prevention of problem gambling or other addiction treatment services.
- July 1 -August 31: Annual Corporate Sponsorships. Proposals will be accepted for review starting July 1, through August 31, for the following fiscal year October through September.
Now Open: Self-Excluded Jackpot Fund Applications
The submission window is now open for Arizona-based non-profits to apply for funding through the Self-Excluded Jackpot program. Applications are being accepted June 1–30. Eligible organizations must be primarily dedicated to the prevention or treatment of problem gambling or other addiction-related services. Submissions received during this period will be reviewed for an October funding distribution. Apply now to be considered before the June 30 deadline.
